TRIP 2010

IF YOU THINK THEN YOU CAN...........these are the lines which proved  true when we all 18 gathered at raebareli station to start the dream journey.
Raebareli is a small city with small mindsets that rarely allows freedom to surpass the old traditions and beliefs. Before 3 months i decided to go for a trip with 4-5 peoples to have fun but bhaiya asked me to promote all to join us.At that time i just grinned and asked him not to joke as it was an thing almost equivalent to impossible because going on a trip with 18 peoples (comprising of 10 boys and 8 girls) in raebareli is just an thought what is only to be discussed not to be followed. But he was full of confidence which was revealed through his facial expressions.I was not sure of it but i always followed him blindly(this is the thing which proved me fruitful every time) so i just nodded my head in favour of him and asked all of us to prepare for the trip. Our primary concern was the approval of our families for which i never bothered because i was always allowed to live with my ideas, what was the thing to be cared of was the approval of the families for girls.
Two months passed away and i didnt cared for the trip as i was sure that i was going and atleast 4-5 others would be there to company me but i got surprised when i came to know that all the families have approved for the trip along with the approval letters for girls.I cant define that moment when i got this news.At that moment i realized that face which was full of confidence 2 months ago for this fruitful happening.Suddenly after listening this news blood started to flow in my veins with double speed and at that moment i realized the power, influence of my CHILDRENS CLUB.
CHILDRENS CLUB to be defined exactly is an sparking thought which was too not defined and clear to the person who created it.It was just that gradually and gradually he realised of it by implementing the ideas and visions which where accepted by mass.He always thought of ideas which were ethically and logically true and were of general acceptance, these were not the ideas imparted from any books or teachings it was just a family teaching and a thoughtful mind which i think is god gifted.Childrens club constituted of all the childrens present in our 'mohallah' who were ready to follow certain ethical rules. Our club was formed in 90's.
Today when i look back at the time which we passed happily and in an ethically developing environment and challenging too then it was the victory time because the approval of our parents means an general acceptance which was an impossible thing and we did it,infact 'his' ideology did it.So finally the preparations started and mood was set to rockon.Everybody was planning his trip to enjoy at the par.But where we had to go and who is going to take the responsibility of leading this trip, was the question which striked out in my mind. But i think this trip was planned by some natural powers because everything went on its way during whole trip .Sonu was the name which came forward on its own to take all the responsibilities.Actually it was not him who took the responsibility but his passion for travelling and adventure was the factor that led him to lead the trip.He is the guy with enormous potential but delivers it only when he wants to otherwise beware of him. ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. He planned out each and every thing ,gathered information on venues, travels, food, etc. He spend sleepless nights to google the locations, temperatures and finally prepared the schedule.
On 28th june 2010,we all gathered at our 'mohallah' and with the slogans of 'jai mata di' we took off to station.Whole of the mohallah came out to see off  'childrens club' ,we were to board our train at 6 pm from lucknow, and raebareli is just 80 kms away from lucknow so it took around 2 hrs. to reach lucknow.Everyone was excited enough to an extent that the heat of sun was meaningless to all.All were just in a mood of fun and enjoyment.During the train to lucknow from raebareli few were playing antakshari, rest engaged in cards, chess and at that moment i was quiet happy to see all of us together. Finally we reached to lucknow and got our berths.Train was full of passengers infact it was overloaded. But when a group of 18 enters a place its their place,so whole of that compartment was ours and we ruled over it.All other passengers were amazed to see such a terrific group as all were singing, shouting in joy and the main attraction was due to the presence of girls in our group. The train journey to chakki bank was fabulous as everyone was enthusiastic and was present by their hearts. The tasks that are accomplished by the hearts have an existence that resembles to the extent as that of the effect of the heroshima nagashaki bombing.
We reached to chakkibank and moved to pathankot on auto.At pathankot we were curious for the toy train as it was the first time for everyone boarding the narrow gauge trains and we were told alot about it by sonu. This was the starting of exploring the himachal pradesh.Himachal pradesh is a state in northern india riched with flora and fauna and some mind blowing views which will be permanently captured to not only your mind but your heart too.As we were 18 so again whole of the compartment was ours.Narrow gauge trains run at a speed of about 40 km/hr and have open windows to view the nature freely.During our 5 hours journey to kangra we all went through many natural views that were fabulous and none of us saw it before. All were influenced by the nature and were just heading outside the window except few who had the problems of mountanious journey, suddenly rain started and the views turned to be impractical as none of us has viewed himachal in rains with naked eyes.As an tunnel arrived all went hilarious and started shouting and our tagline "hallabol" came out with full stroke. It was an awesome journey of toy train and everyone was thankful to sonu for this immemorable journey.Himachal is a state rich in hilly views and sometimes we realized that we are in an different world where everything was just resembling to the movie.
It was around 6 pm when we reached to kangra.Kangra is an district in himachal famous for its nature views and ancient temples,we planned to stay in kangra.Sonu arranged the hotels and once again as i said previously it was a trip planned by some natural powers,we got a hotel which was not as per our budget. We got whole of the floor booked and all just started screaming as they entered the rooms.Hotel gaurav was a dream place for all as it has windows with hilly views, was well furnished,ac and service at your doorstep. All settled down gradually to their rooms as it was difficult to select the room partners. The amazing thing was that no one feeling tired infact all were enthusiastic at that moment.Thats why i said the work accomplished by your heart has an everlasting effect that you never get tired.Actually its not the work that makes u feel tired ,its the boredom of work which does it.No one was able to sleep that night because all were amazed and happy to visit himachal.
Finally it was the next morning when everyone was searching divya as she was the food incharge and no one got his morning bed tea.Sonu finalized the further plan and booked a traveller. All were set in a mood for adventure as  the vehicle was ours and we moved on to 'chamunda devi' temple. On the way to temple we saw a scenic beauty, three hills were meeting each other and it was mind blowing to watch it.Another view was of Dharmashala cricket stadium which is constructed in the heart of himachal. As we reached to temple,no one was interested to see the god in the temple, all were searching for the fun and suddenly one got it.As we all moved to back of the temple, the fun location was set there.River was flowing and peoples were crossing it on the stones placed between all over the rivers. Again all went crazy and ran towards it.It was an awesome place which everyone just thought of in their dreams.Tanmay, the youngest member of the group, was not able to control his emotions and went inside the river and started to flow away with stream. He did not cared about his clothes and finally got his all clothes wet and Radhe(the non explanative character) was not able to decide to go in or out of water and got blank minded which was depicted from his face. All laughed and went on for complete masti.Pragya, shilpi, saumya, golu, pooja, divya, babuji, annu, gaurav and anku were busy in photo shoot and sonu, bhawna (our financial head) were waiting for all others to get to the next venue but no one cared for them unless sonu rang in his mood(ha ha ha ha ha ) and bhya asked everyone to move on.At that time tanmay was the cynosure as he has no clothes to wear now and he was a bit terrified that how will seniors treat him.He was given a jacket and stole which he weared under his waist and now he was resembling the foreigner. At this point sonu asked him to be tension free and carry on with  his supernatural look.He was convinced and got back to his adventurous  mood.
Now we moved to  Dharamshasla for bhagsunag waterfall.Dharamshala is one of the main towns of kangra valley with scenic beauty. We had to leave our traveller 6-7 kms before and we went on our foot. The way to bhagsunag was a dangerous one and we moved on with care ,at few points we crossed the road by catching each others hand as it was narrow and as we reached bhagsunag everyone was annoyed as there was nothing special to see over there after travelling at this height.
Bhagsunag waterfall was a simple waterfall with nothing extra to watch at it,it was just that peoples were busy with photo shoots over there and i too followed the same trend and stood near it for my pics.11kms trekking above bhagsunag leads to Triund where we have decided to go but as it was at an altitude so we dropped the idea of visiting triund.Actually the main adventure was waiting for us below it and as we went back we saw a swimming pool and the annoyed moods came back to form and went  for rock on.Firstly i and sonu took off our clothes but as sonu went in i realised the level of water,it was upto nose so we went for tubes and then majority joined us.Water was chilled and all were just shivering but no one stopped until all others who were not in pool threatened to move on alone. At this time i got a view of bhagsunag and it was spectacular.A scene for which you should visit himachal once in your lifetime, clouds were spread over the three mountains and it was looking like we are in heaven and for a moment i was just stucked.Nature has given us infinite reasons to live happily but we dont care of it,if i would be given a chance then surely i would like to stay in himachal for atleast 3 months every year. Finally all of us went back to traveller and moved on to Naddi point, the highest altitude which we covered.Naddi point was a place where i went crazy because i wanted to capture it all with me in it.I took the camera and started to capture the beauty.Firstly i asked all for their various poses, which i clicked then i asked them to click mine with every angle and went on for all possible clicks. It was an picturesque venue. As sun was moving to west so we went back to traveller and moved on to our hotel.
In the evening all went for dinner and were just discussing about the day adventure they met with.No one was willing to sleep except those who were tired of vomiting all day due to mountainous journey. Now once again sonu started planning for the next day and bhya called me too to decide it.Finally we decided to move on to pathankot with bus but next morning sonu called traveller and asked him to drop us at pathankot station through jwala devi mandir as we had to move to jammu for mata vaishno devi darshan. Finally driver agreed and we all moved for the typical part of the journey as most of us were sick of travelling mountains and wanted to go on plains. We visited to jwala jee ,flames are fuming in that temple always for which it is famous. There we met with our first loss, our one of the camera went missing and we could not find it till last.Actually this was carried by our lal but finally we controlled the situation but its effect was clearly visible(ha ha ha ha ha ).During whole of this journey i was not confused of  what to do because all were just vomiting along the window,we stopped at several points but our medicine was finished and i was just consoling all to concentrate on fun but it was useless. Finally we stopped at a place to have tea and all were happy that they were on plains.Tanmay as usual firstly ate at its max then went for ease, sonu went for boiled eggs,we were waiting for tea and pakodis, actually where we stopped was an village and all villagers were stunned to see us infact our group. They all stared like they never saw humans before. We reached pathankot station at 7 pm.Now we went for a hour long discussion for how to reach jammu. There were two options ,either by bus or passenger train at 3 am.Finally sonu took a brave decision of going alone to jammu via bus  and get booked the hotel by the time we arrive there by train.Actually sonu was an factor who made this trip successful by leading at every step.
Now we were at pathankot station for our night halt and we enjoyed alot over there.Babuji(the most innocent guy of our group) went to take the tea for all and suddenly a train arrived at platform,as babuji was carrying 18 cups tea so everyone thought of him as tea vendor and asked to sell it. All went to help him otherwise all the tea would have been sold out,ha ha ha ha.Finally train arrived at 3 am and as i did not slept all night so i was feeling sleepy and as i entered the compartment i was not able to find out suitable place for sleeping so i fell down on floor and went for a deep sleep.A sleep is a thing which makes the man senseless to differentiate between what to do or what not to do(atleast in my case).I was just flattered over the floor and waked up when i reached jammu.I felt relaxed due to a sound deep sleep. We went to jammu, refreshed and took the first bus to katra as sonu was waiting for us with booked hotal and tickets. We reached katra and met sonu and he got arranged everything before. We relaxed at hotel and started to move on at 12 am for vaishno devi darshan. As we were 18 so several groups were formed according to the walking speeds. We just decided that sonu will lead us,bhya will be in between and i would be at the last.Journey to vaishno devi starts from badh ganga,we started our journey by hailing "jai mata di".
The route to mandir is through road and stairs, all carried on with their ease.Once in between Sonu leaded all to 350 stair route and Bhawna was seeming pathetic there and suddenly sonu came back and bucked up bhawna to move on and,ha ha h ah ha ha ha,bhawna was full of her views and sonu went back to lead the group. With all the tits and tats we reached mandir and formed two groups for mandir darshan.Firstly one group went in and then second one,i was in second group with bhya, and sonu leaded the first one.All were happy and suddenly we got to view the natures view at its best,it started raining and we had to cancel the bhaironath mandir darshan, the mountain which was visible few minutes back suddenly disappeared between clouds and it was an mind boggling scene which cannot be defined. After dharamshala it was a moment when i was stucked again and speechless. We got few clicks and ran towards the hotel as we had to catch our train at 8 pm at jammu. But it was not so easy as rain blocked the road and we all took out our shawls, jackets, stoles as it was cold there.Few of us covered themselves with bed sheets. It was an hilarious moment and we all were happy to watch it.During our way to hotel all got shattered and finally met in the hotel as rain was not predictable. All reached the hotel except our Babuji, all were just waiting for him and worried and we decided that anyone should go to search him,but after half an hour smiling face of babuji entered the hotel and we all relaxed. Now we rushed to jammu station and finally boarded the train which was signalling the end of a hilarious trip.
This was merely not a fun trip but an event which binded all of us together more tightly and it led us understand each other thoroughly.Sonu emerged as an impeccable feature who realised his potential, bhawna could make up with financial matters, divya with food prospects and overall all came to know about each other and the power of living in a group. All learned management without any special classes. You can go for trip always but going on such a trip with the ones with whom you have have spent your childhood, shared your joys, sorrows and every moment right from your birth is an exemplary thing to achieve.Whenever you feel sad in your life just recall this trip moment and sing "halla bol,...ham kaun hai ham kya hai duniya ko dikhaenge, roke jo parvat bhi hame kab rok paenge...dan dana dan dan dana dan...... "" you will see a positive change in yourself right that moment.
